Join the Dig! Each year, on the second weekend in October, one hundred or more amateur rockhounds come to Mount Ida to compete in this dig in the “Quartz Crystal Capital of the World.”  This competition is for everyone; Adults, Young Minors, and Clubs.  All amateur quartz crystal diggers are invited to enter!  This two-day dig is October 11 - 12, 2019.
