Healthy Connections is a health care facility with 9 clinic locations. The Mount Ida clinic opened in 2007 and is in the process of expanding. Practitioners include doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners providing primary and preventive care services in the fields including family practice, diabetic, radiology, therapeutic injections, cardiology, dental, and pharmacy. In 2012 a school based health clinic was opened at Ouachita River Health Center-Acorn school, which is located in Oden, Arkansas.
All clinics accept most forms of medical and dental insurance, Medicaid and Medicare; however, no person will be turned away for lack of insurance. Qualified families will be charged according to their total family income (please see our discounted medical & dental care program page for details). Enrollment assistance is also available for Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act.
